Do I need to make a reservation?
It’s not necessary to make a reservation but we recommend to do so as there is a high demand. The registration is always completed in our shop and quick and easy. You don’t need a Dutch bank account to rent a bike from us.

What kind of bikes do you have?
All our bikes are Dutch quality bikes with hand brakes and 3 gears.

How do I pay for my bike?
The rent is charged upfront and can be paid in cash or by card when you pick up your bike. The rent is 25 euro per month with a minimum of 3 months. A full year is 225 euro.

Can I rent a bike shorter than three months?
Yes it’s possible to rent a bike for shorter periods but the price for 1-3 months is the same.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
We need a copy of a your ID or credit card for the deposit.

When and where can I pick up my bike?
You can pick up your bike anytime at our shop which is located at Damstraat 20-22 next to Dam square. We are open 7 days a week from 9:00 – 18:00. See the contact page for the exact location.

When and where do I return my bike?
The rental period starts from the day you pick up the bike. The bike has to be returned at our bike shop on the due date.

How can I extend my rent?
You can simply extend the rent by passing by at our shop or by phone or email.

What maintenance and repairs is covered?
All maintenance and repairs due to normal use of the bike is covered. Damage due to an accident or mistreatment of the bike is not covered.

What do I have to do when my bike has a problem?
If your bike needs maintenance you can come to our shop where we will take care of it immediately or give you a replacement bike.

What happens when my bike gets stolen?
In case your bike got stolen you have to return the keys of the bike and bring a police report. In that case you only pay a deductible of 75 euro. If you don’t have the keys, a police report or parked and locked the bike correctly you will be charged 350 euro replacement costs. More information about how to park your bike and what to do in case of theft will be explained when you pick up your bike.

I lost my bike keys, what should I do?
Please come to our shop to pick up a spare key when you have lost your keys. The replacement costs are 7,50 euro per key.

I have friends and family over. Can they rent a bike with you with discount as well?
Yes we give your friends and family extra discount on our regular rental prices. Just let us know you rent a student bike from us and we will make you a good deal.
